Hi my grandparents have given me their iPad as the touchscreen has stopped responding to touch. Still displays okay. They just want me to try and get their photos off it, they aren’t backed up to iCloud.

My thinking is to plug in a USB mouse in order to get to the photos and get them downloaded, but I’m seeing lots of posts of people saying that to use a USB mouse, you need to enable assistive touch in the settings, which obviously I can’t do, hence why I need the mouse in the first place 🤣

Can anyone who’s done this before confirm my worries that I won’t be able to connect a mouse?
