Just got quoted for a Yamaha R3.

Dealer is asking

Base price: $4,895

Freight: $1,695

Total purchase: $6,590

Doc fee: $199

Tax: $391.60

Grand Total: $7,180.60

The Freight seems more than a bit crazy. Is this normal pricing for a 2026 Yamaha R3 now?

I have been previously quoted $600 Freight on a 2025 Yamaha R3 not long ago and was expecting a slight increase to $650 Freight as listed on Yamaha's USA website
