5080 power cable

Hey all, i had a question;

I'm building my first PC, and i've managed to get through the POST and to BIOS - and i wanted to make sure that i've connected by 5080 well enough that there shouldn't be any problems.

I've had to reseat the GPU - on the first boot it got stuck on the VGA light on the MB with no display, and resets didn't do anything, but taking the GPU out and putting it back in seemed to have fixed the problem as it now POSTs to BIOS no problem.

No OS yet, but i did manage to update the BIOS - i'm just not 100% sure on the GPU power cable as the power supply had one 600w 16-pin cable and then two normal 8-pin ones (with the loopty ones, like a double 8-pin), but the GPU also came with an adapter for 3x 8-pins to 1x 16-pin.

Is how i connected it - with just the 600w cable - gonna be okay? FYI the cable is connected to the PSU fully, no way to push it in further.

The GPU is a 5080 PNY OC, the PSU is a be quiet! pure power 12 m 850 w 80+ gold.
