I started getting these very bizarre emails starting in April 2024. Every now and then I get two emails, one containing an acknowledgement of initializing a payment, and the second confirming it has been paid and the order shipped. I've checked my bank account and the charges don't actually go through me, I'm not paying anything. They aren't even asking for money, just saying the invoice has been paid. Always in that order. I'm really baffled by this, if it's a scam I don't understand it, but if it's legitimate why did the person who made this account hook it to my email? Why didn't the website send me some kind of sign up email? I don't understand what's going on.
Should I just go on ignoring these? Block the address? I should have looked into it sooner but like I said nothing is actually happening except the emails themselves. I've tried looking into this whole thing myself but I legitimately cannot find any answers to what is going on except that .su is a Russian extension.
