Song lagging + caution message
Hey everyone!
Just got a 2026 Outback wilderness and seriously in love with the car coming from a crosstrek
However I do notice a couple of things:
on wireless CarPlay, when I skip to another song, there is usually a 2 second delay from the moment I skip to when it actually plays. My crosstrek changed it instantly. I’m not sure if it’s because my crosstrek had wired CarPlay compared to the wireless though
the caution message that you agree to on startup takes a decent amount of time loading before I can click agree. I would say the longest time it took was about 10 seconds
I reached out to the dealership and they said my software was up to date and to give it a bit for it to fix itself within the first month.
Has anyone had these issues and did it fix on its own? If not, did you go to the dealership so they can manually update the software? Or how did you fix it?
