Sorry for the noob question but I’m replacing the 12v SLA battery on my alarm system. Does it matter which direction the female F1 terminal faces (meaning flat side facing the battery versus the rolled side facing the battery) or does it not make a difference? The old battery got recycled a few weeks ago and I forget which way the terminals were oriented… oops. Thanks in advance!

My knowledge of all this is very limited so please forgive my ignorance in advance, but if I were to get accepted into a union’s apprenticeship program is it possible to move states at any point during the program without having to start from scratch (Specifically from CT to FL)? I unfortunately don’t know what the next 5 years look like for me due to family things occurring, so a move from CT to FL might be happening in the next 2-3 years, or it might not even happen at all. Electrician friends of mine said no matter where you are in the program you’d have to start over from day 1. Can someone please give me concrete info? I don’t want to have to start from scratch, but I also don’t want to wait around for 5 years before I know for sure what’s going on with our life. Much appreciated!!
