Turret design I've been working on for my WIP medium/heavy tank
After posting for suggestions on what turret to put on my hull, This is what I came up with. It's a cast and welded design (a mix of different Ideas, mainly US heavy tanks but not a copy of a single one).The form tries to be as compact as possible without sacrificing functionality and also being suitable for mass production , sporting an 105 mm gun with a thick mantlet and a rear bustle( So the enemy knows exactly where to shoot to make is cook off). I still have to work on the ammo ports, hatches and details so it is far from complete.
