Weed smell in house?
I recently got a roommate. She’s basically renting a room in the house. (I’m not the owner but I’m on the lease with the landlord) when she first moved in it smelled like weed a lot in the house. I had a conversation with her and told her that there was no illegal drugs allowed in the house. (It was on her lease and the family that owns the house is a strict military family and I am trying to respect their wishes). I told her I couldn’t care less about her smoking, but I could lose my deposit if the landlord found out. She’s more than welcome to smoke outside. She told me she didn’t smoke inside she only smoked outside (but the entire house smelled like weed. Top floor and bottom floor.) she got really flush faced and I felt like she was lying. But she’s young and i am not going to continue to press her because she said she would try to be more mindful. It stopped smelling like smoke after that. The last few days I’ve been coming home early which is basically about an hour after she leave for class. It smells like weed again. I looked on the ring camera (we have one in front and one in back that we both have access to) and I didn’t see her outside smoking. But she could maybe be out of my view. Anyway, my question is (as a non weed smoker) is it possible for the smoke to smell up the entire house even if she smoked outside and away from the door? I don’t want to confront her about that if the smell just really lingers on clothes or whatever.
