Replacing Copper drain to PVC
The drain line has a leak. I only have the pictures, I'm not there in person yet to measure, but want to have the right supplies when I do.
The copper goes up behind a wall I can't get to, so I was going to use a copper to PVC no-hub connector.
For the copper where it connects to the floor, I'm assuming this is cast iron. My plan was to cut below the hub and then just use a no hub for the cast iron to PVC. I think this is lead and not screwed on.
Does this look like 2" copper to 3" cast iron?
Any recommendations on cutting the cast iron? I've done it before with a sawzall in an open space where it was getting thrown out, so the cut didn't matter. I was thinking maybe a cutoff wheel on a grinder or is it worth renting a soil pipe cutter?
Thanks.
