Whenever a Disney movie takes place in a real world location, the game changes it to an in-universe one (Paris/Fleur City), but the plot of Alice in Wonderland doesn't really work if she's already from Twisted Wonderland and just happened to get teleported to the Queendom of Roses.

I believe that every mention of her so far has just been about her being a random girl, but she has to have some historical relevance since RSA treats her as one of their "great seven".

Not only that, but Disney's animated short "Thru the Mirror", which is what the Ramshackle's mirror is based on, takes direct inspiration from Alice in Wonderland's sequel, "Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There".

I feel like this should be a pretty big deal plot-wise, we have an example of a girl who was able to travel through different worlds with the involvement of a mirror. This could be a nice set up for Yuu to explore RSA post book 8.

Just in case someone is not familiar with Final Fantasy 8, his real name is Squall, Yuffie actually calls him that in the first game and he corrects her to Leon. In universe, the reason for the name change is because he failed to protect Radiant Garden when Maleficent attacked and he wants to distance himself from that failure.

He says that he won't return to his real name until Hollow Bastion is restored, but is never mentioned again, not when we "restore" Hollow Bastion by sealing the keyhole, not in KH2 where they are actively rebuilding everything to how it was, and not in KH3 where everything is fully fixed.

Another forgotten thing is that, during the credits of KH2, you can see him opening a letter and a pair of wings come floating out of it, which are Rinoa's symbol (his love interest in FF8), but this also never goes anywhere.
