It's day two of my first build! I'm building the ROKR Swing Ride.

Putting the gears together with the pins was SO FUN! I even testing out adding color but now I'm at my first test and everything is working except the lights. If I gently bend the joint where the light strip meets the colorful wires, it SOMETIMES lights up for a few seconds. Just enough to get really excited about. But, then I let go or move slightly and they go out.

What do I do?

Is this something I can fix or do I need to stop building until I replace this part?

How do I replace this part?

I made it through the first page!....After staring and re-reading several times.

I'm having fun though!

For those who paint or edge paint, do you do it one stage at a time? I can see myself getting confused and missing an edge that's exposed.

I very much welcome any tips for staying organized and getting the small pieces out...or the dowel nails in, without breaking them. Eeek!
