Anyone here have experience getting a permit to drain ground water into the sewer? We're surrounded by other units with no pathway to the street, and there's nowhere to pipe water to.

Every single contractor we've talked to has told us to simply illegally connect our sump pump to our drain pipe, but I'd really like to do this legally. Supposedly, permits are a thing - anyone have advice on how to best apply for one?
