Hi all,

So I just got a quote back from my local Heat Geek, and I was just wondering if I am right to feel aggrieved by this quote.

So we're renovating a 1960s bungalow (142m2), fitting retrofit UFH throughout, so there is nothing allowed for in terms of replacing radiators, it is literally just fitting a new cylinder and ashp and connecting/commissioning.

Overall for a 7kw Vaillant aroTHERM plus, and a Vaillant uniSTOR PURE 150L cylinder we've been quoted £9,765, so that is £17,265 without the grant. Nearly 9k of that figure is labour.

To me that seems outrageously high, what do you think?
