This is an update on to my previous post a few days ago, one of the two owlets has left the hollow free nest.

I heard scratching noises from inside a dead apple tree in my orchard so I had a quick look, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw these fellas starring back.

Does anyone know what type they are? And how close to fledging they are?

I've set up a wildlife camera looking at the tree they are in so if I get any pictures of the parents coming to feed them I'll try and come back to this post and update.
