Is UK > Italy?
I've been working as an electrician for the past couple of years. Background in IT / software / programming. Specializing in home automation. Though the market isn't there yet. Demand is very low. And I'm very picky.
Recently a dear friend that lives in Luton gave me the idea about UK. I've started digging around and it really looks promising. Both in terms of pay, work-life balance (9-10hrs / day are the norm here) and availability of work for my preference.
Though my question is. Is it worth to start over there? Feels to me that I would have to start over from scratch and get all of the certification again. I'm more than fully certified here, and can work pretty much every sector i would like. But in uk?
Is it possible to convert my cert to uk?
Also, is it just me or the standards for electrical systems are lower than in Italy?
