I've had 2 healthy Irish coffees so bear with me but is it ever referred to in IW lore that iron itself is kinda a shit non malleable metal that can be pretty much objectively improved by the process of smelting steal? I get the the thematics but pragmatically speaking shouldn't cast iron be a foreign concept to most of the 40k universe? Help me out here
