Account limited after attempting to join a server

TL;DR: Tried joining a server on an untrusted computer via web app. Tried joining using Discord app on a trusted computer, worked alright. Still limited for two years.

So... I tried joining Kanka's Discord server through the link on their own website.

Right after I tried to join, my account got logged off both my phone and webapp. I thought it was weird, but didn't give it too much thought. It asked me to verify my account and re-log. Done so, but I didn't joined the server. Tried again, same thing, logged off everywhere. This was when I got suspicious and checked my account standing, it is limited until 2028 for violations of spamming.

According to a video I saw (you know whose), apparently there is a type of scam in which people join a server, and a bot spams messages on an user's behalf, in an attempt to get their account banned, and I think something like that happened to me.

Of course I've tried appealing directly on the app, but all I got was the standard "deal with it" Clyde response, and my account stood limited. I've tried appealing on the support website, but got Nelly to tell me to appeal on the app, which I can't because it says I've already appealed it.

So that's it? My account will be limited for two years for something I wasn't responsible for, and I just have to "deal with it"?

[EDIT] Apparently the issue was with the computer I was using. I tried joining the same server on a trusted machine, it worked alright. Still, my account is still limited for two years...

Now that Copilot is moving to token based usage, it got me thinking. I know you can add your custom API keys on Visual Studio's Copilot setting.

My question is whether I can use my Anthropic key to use Claude and Opus as I see fit, instead of paying Copilot, and still use the Agent feature.
