Monday Hell

I'm going to start blocking my calendar on Monday mornings to deal with whatever it is they do on the weekend.

I pulled my AP reports this morning and wow were they high! I thought there's no way this is accurate. I start going through it it, and something tells me that this links (not entirely sure how though) to the whole "Payroll? Nah, I'll put wages under expenses for this payrun" mess. That we subsequently cleaned up - but is now causing new issues? Because all of a sudden I have a bunch of paycheques from February (that are obviously paid) show up as an overdue bill. *sigh*.

My Visa payments on invoices have also come through as unpaid invoices, so my AP looks horrendous and now I get to sift through it all. The Audit Log shows "Indirect Edit by System" on all of the ones I've checked, which is something I'm seeing way too much of.

It never really ends, does it? This morning's start-of-the-week adventure is a journal entry from December that appeared in this month's books, meaning it's in twice. Discovered upon bank reconciliation today, despite the month end prep reconciliation last week balancing just fine.

THEN, of course not satisfied with that one, a portion of payroll has been put through twice, despite the payroll being nearly a month old, but the double entry wasn't there last week.

This from the system that brought you "Wages? nah, Imma just slap this into expenses here."

Seriously. Why?
