Context: Solzhenitsyn drew on his experience of imprisonment, forced labor, and exile, then shaped those reflections into his book The Gulag Archipelago under Soviet censorship from 1958 to 1968. The quote comes from his attempt to understand how ordinary people, not only rulers or institutions, become part of systems of cruelty and falsehood. His point is that good and evil are not confined to states, classes, or political parties, nor fixed inside separate groups. The moral line runs through every human heart and shifts over time, leaving some good even in corrupted people and some evil even in the best.

True liberty means people can express honest criticism, unpopular opinions, and uncomfortable facts. They should not be silenced just because the public, powerful groups, or accepted opinion dislike what they are saying.
When I post a quote image, I get a message telling me to “please crosspost.” I’m concerned that crossposting to multiple subreddits at the same time might be considered spam. What are the actual rules for crossposting on Reddit? Are there recommended time gaps between posts? Is it okay to crosspost immediately, or should you wait—and if so, for how long? Also, how many subreddits can I crosspost to if they allow it? Please advice.
