I just wanted to post here and express my appreciation for Codex usage. I was on Claude Code's $100 plan and I always hit the usage limit quickly, which is really unusual. Even though I always use Markdown files for everything, it consumes faster. I haven't even used Opus 4.7.
But I finally got fed up and tried Codex. Using 5.5 for planning and 5.3-Codex for execution is like a breeze; it gets what I want in the output. Plus, having to use the same MCP and agent skills I used in Claude Code feels even greater in my opinion. Although I downgraded my subscription in Claude Code to $20, I now just use it for web design and mockups. But with Codex's generous usage as of now and their May promotion, I subscribed to the $100 plan. Now it's much more worth it and I can get my projects done much more efficiently and better.
