Deer skins are underrated.

Hello everyone I am new to Reddit still but I believe that this could fall under the right category for this group.

I am posting to share about my latest idea to process a deer hide from the deer i shot in the fall and use add it to my collection of camping gear.

I did so over the winter and i have been using this spring.

I mainly have been using it for campfires when it's not very warm out I lay it down on the lawn chair and sit on it keeps your back really warm it makes you feel like you're sitting in the living room. Or even if you just lay it on the ground it's a lot warmer.

You can really use it anywhere. ( if you don't mind getting a couple funny looks and answering a few questions ) my main plan was to use it on my cot underneath my sleeping bag because in the early Seasons my back would always get cold.

But it has so many more uses I'm actually using it right now in the tractor as a floor mat so I can have my boots off my dog likes laying on it.

Just thought I'd share my ideas for anyone that doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and likes to use all of their animal that they harvest also wondering if anyone else has had the same idea as me and I'm not as original as I thought haha.
