I have a Mora Companion stainless and was wondering if it's worth it to go up to their higher end models like the bushcraft, kansbol, or the garberg? The garberg being full tang, slightly better steel (14c28n vs 12c27) and it looks like it has better grip is tempting, but I'm not sure it's worth the price increase when I could just buy multiple companions.
Hi I'm new to camping and want to get an Esee knife for camping since they aren't terribly expensive and if they break then you can get a new one no questions. I'm currently between these two and can't decide which would be better. One has a rounded 3D handle, and a 4.5" drop point blade, while the other has a flat scale handle, and a 4.88" spear point blade with a saber grind. I'd assume the drop point would make better feathersticks and the saber grind would split small pieces of firewood easier?
