Ticking noise increasing with vehicle speed.
1998 Mercedes benz slk230 (r170) 120k miles
I'm not sure what is causing this sound. Any help would be appreciated.
Not RPM related
Same sound in reverse.
Nothing attached to the drive shaft as far as I can see.
Sat for 5 years before I got it.
