Ignore Kiya to shaadi nhi hogi tumhari....

( padhlo yrrr ,, plss request,, meri lelo lekin padhlo and advice dedo. ))))

Hey everyone,

This was my first NEET attempt, and now I’m trying to figure out what to do next if I don’t get an MBBS seat.

Becoming a doctor is still my main goal, but I also want to make a sensible decision and keep a good backup option.

The 3 options I’m considering:

  1. Take a full drop for NEET 2027

Focus only on NEET for one year.

Best chance to improve my score.

But if things don’t work out, I’ll have no backup.

  1. Join B.Sc Nursing and prepare for NEET alongside it

Strong backup career.

Still stay in the medical field.

But I’m not sure how manageable nursing + NEET prep will be.

  1. Join IISER

Amazing option for research and science.

Prestigious institutes and good future opportunities.

But not really aligned with NEET, and I might drift away from my MBBS goal.

My situation

This was my first NEET attempt.

MBBS is still my dream.

I’m willing to work hard for one more serious attempt.

At the same time, I want a secure backup.

I’m not sure if I’m interested enough in research to choose IISER.

Questions

If you were in my position, what would you choose?

Is B.Sc Nursing + NEET prep realistically manageable?

Has anyone here cracked NEET while doing B.Sc Nursing or another course?

If you joined IISER while still wanting MBBS, did you regret it?

Is one full drop worth taking?

Would really appreciate honest advice from people who’ve gone through something similar.

Thanks in advance!
