I thinking to buy a laptop and I'm confused between Legion 5i Ultra 7 255HX RTX 5070 and Legion Pro 5 Ryzen 9 8945HX RTX 5070. Both are at the same price of Rs 2,07,00 or $2200. Do any of these models use Liquid Metal?

Legion 5i has better battery life, is thinner and portability while Legion Pro 5 has a better display and is thicker. I'm really confused between both.

I'm thinking to get a Legion 5 or 5i with 32gb RAM, 1tb SSD and RTX 5070 but I'm confused whether I should spend 20k rupees or roughly $210 more for the 255HX with much better multicore performance (I know gaming performance is almost same on both as single core performance is same). I usually play games like MSFS, CS2, Minecraft, Hogwarts legacy and some other AAA titles too.

Another question I have is that if the PCIE gen5x16 connection with GPU that 255hx will result in better performance over the gen4x8 connection that AI 7 350 has? Is the gen4x8 a bottleneck for RTX 5070 8GB?

I was also looking at the connectivity charts on TechPowerUp and noticed that Ai 7 350 has less PCIE lanes than what is required. Will that cause ant issue?

I'm really confused between both. I do not have a fixed budget, but I want the best performance per dollar/rupee. Can someone help me with it? Any recommendation for improvement in this config is also welcomed.

One more question: Does legion use liquid metal? I don't want liquid metal because my old rog suffered some serious problems due it.
