My Joe's PH Cognac Bison is perfect footbed height for leveling with my surgical boot for artificial ankle healing.

70 years old and retired, don't need heavy boot (lighter and comfortable, prefer all leather).

Wore combat boots for 28 years. Right foot 10.2 D Brannock, left 9.2 E Brannock. Have artificial left ankle still healing with limited range of motion.

Any company willing to make different size boot left/right? If not, a lace to toe could lock in my smaller right foot better than normal laced boot.

And a side zipper would make it easier to get my limited range of motion left foot in and out. 6" to 7" boot preferred, and leather (but lighter) boot preferred.

Boots help protect my ankle more than shoes.

Mismatched size, Left 9W Russell (9.5 Brannock). 
Right 10W Russell (10.5 Brannock)

Left boot has never been worn nor laced and is new in box. Right boot was worn around 30 hours total and approx 5 miles.

Both boots are: Sole Selected: Vibram 2060, Quarter Color Selected: Olive Twill, Leather Selected: Cognac Bison.  

I received the 10E March 23, 2026, 9E Apr 6, 2026.  I then had ankle surgery the same day, April 6. 

I wanted perfect fit and am keeping the opposite mismatch.  

Build price on each pair was $840. Joe's PH is currently not available from Russell Boots. 

Left boot new, right boot perfect and very slightly used condition.
