Just wanted to share my first cook on my first smoker, large BGE. 3.5 pork shoulder, wrapped for last hour to make dinner time. Spatchcock chicken and bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. My family was so excited. When putting my 11yo son to bed, his last words were “I’m sooo full”.

I will say the temp control will take some getting used to. I was all over the map with the pork. I’ll be sticking with easier, forgiving meats for a while.
