Aiarty Video Enhancer Upscaling is Too Dark
Hi,
I ripped the DVD box set for Land of the Giants so that mpeg video streams are simply copied to MKV files for best source quality for upscaling.
When I used the Aiarty Video Enhancer (current version) to upscale the video to 1080p all the resulting videos are all very dark compared to the DVD's.
As a sanity check, I also upscaled an episode using Unifab's current AI stock upscaler to 1080p and its results are much better.
Screenshots of the different results are attached to this post. I can share the source DVD video episode for diagnostics if required.
This seems to related to the latest version since I've used earlier versions of Aiarty for other DVD's without this negative effect.
What's going on?
