Big reason of why tengen slander is annoying are bcs you guys be doing exact same thing tengen/gyutaro glazers do. Lie, downplay and overexaggerate. You DONT need to do that when the guy already dont have much.

  1. Gyutaro isnt UM lvl. Wtf is this?

  2. Tengen isnt hashira level. Result of the first take.

  3. Needed 6/7 ppl. Nezuko shouldnt count, or should we also start counting kakushi that helped heal sanemi and giyuu now??? Suma and makio shouldnt count. Zenitsu and inosuke should not count in a post asking a strict 1v1 between tengen and gyutaro.

  4. The incest thing. No? He was just as much of a victim as his wives were. And he never did anything to them btw since the goal was to settle down after killing an UM. So no, get your disgusting mind out of here. Marriage ≠ boomayahh. Incest, in japan at the time marrying cousin is a normal thing to do. And if this bother you that much just headcanon that they are 2nd/3rd cousins oml🫩

  5. Pervert. Imagine you are an author in japanese society trying to make a panel of a buff guy punishing a girl for insubordination without getting backlash. Option 1 you try to play the scene off as comedic moment. Like how inosuke and zenitsu got their guts punched when they were being annoying. Hmm a girl getting her gut punched, would be seen as comedic now would it. Option 2 just give a quick one and done punishment(no moments no nothing) that isnt too soft but isnt too cruel either. Thats what the author chosen. The author made that scene a quick one bcs it was not supposed to be overanalyzed. That spanking scene speaks nothing of tengen's personality other than he uphold the hierarchy no matter if you are a boy or a girl.

In anime the studio made tengen locked in, like he goes full speed yet gyutaro dodged him. Which doesnt really make sense and really inconsistent.

In manga we could see tengen's expression was not expecting a new demon, and when he went in the way he hold his sword is with one hand. Which is what he do when he is travelling, not in battle. The "careless" statement would make sense here.

I support both anime and manga, think both are canon. But when one make much less sense or contradict the other, that is different.
