We hiked in to Basin Cove Primitive Campground around lunch on Friday, set up camp and visited the Caudill Cabin up the Basin Cove trail.
Second day we trekked up the Bluff Mountain Primitive Trail and whew what a monster. Longest 2.8 miles of my life. Ate lunch at the top, did a spur down to Wildcat Rock to get a look at the Caudill Cabin from above, and then made our way back via the MST and Grassy Gap Fire Rd to just beat nightfall back to camp.
Day 3 was breakfast, breaking camp and hiking out.
Phenomenal trip and by far the most mileage I've ever done over a weekend
