Everything is going smoothly on my first day,
until I try to set-up my Android TV. Yes, I know IR blasters are always an option, but my perfectionism does not let me do that. My TCL will power down and no matter what I do I cant get it to wake on LAN. It has a static IP, the relevant power option for network stand by and quick start + doze mode are on. I even went as far as enabling every possible ADB option relevant to the topic via terminal. When I use wakeonlan in my mac terminal, for a short period after this I can ping the TV, but I cant get it to turn on the screen. No relevant option is available in the Service menu either. It is a TCL Google TV for the European market, specifically the 65P635 (yes I know the model by heart).
Any, and I mean, any support would be of the essence, just to avoid the IR blaster. I know I can always use the TV remote but now it is a matter of principle.
