Has anyone used a Shure MV7+ with Wispr Flow via USB on one Mac and XLR/interface on another

I’m trying to share a Shure MV7+ between two Macs for Wispr Flow without manually switching the USB connection back and forth.

  • Mac 1: MV7+ connected directly over USB-C
  • Mac 2: MV7+ XLR output → USB audio interface → Mac

Shure says the MV7+ can output over USB and XLR simultaneously, so in theory both Macs should be able to “hear” the mic at the same time. My question is whether Wispr Flow works reliably with the XLR/interface side.

Has anyone here used Wispr Flow with an XLR mic through a USB audio interface? Any issues with Flow only picking up one channel/input? For example, does the mic need to be on input 1/left channel?

Also curious if anyone has specifically tried this with the MV7+ and whether the XLR side is good enough for dictation compared with the USB side.

I have two workstations next to each other and go back and forth to each. Currently I manually unplug the mic each time I switch between them. Trying to find a best solution. A USC-C switch would work I'm sure but the above setup would be even better.

Best Software for Microcap and Small Cap Investing

I've been focusing on mostly small and microcap the past few years and done well. I subscribe to Stockrover which I use but don't use any of the power features. For the most part I research an industry I want to invest in, pick a few stocks, then buy and hold. Initial investments per stock range from 5k-30k. Everything is AI related.

Wonder if there are any others that do similar and use different software that they really like? I do enjoy tracking my portfolio daily and also track news stories and forums for information. Stockrover seems extremely powerful but is probably overkill for what I need and may be missing features that I'd like to have for my use case.

Workflow for making Openclaw skills / projects

I've been playing around with Openclaw for the past several months and more recently started spending a lot more time working with it. Have a separate Mac mini full workstation I use it on.

I have a Max account for both Claude and Chatgpt. Using Chatgpt 5.5 through OAuth primarily with my claw.

I've been using Claude code (not in my claw, in the Claude app in a separate window) for diagnosing and fixing problems with Openclaw and also for helping me create skills - I tell Claude Code an idea for a skill, it writes the skill, it tells me what to tell my claw to test out the skill and we fine-tune and debug it little by little and add features as I think of them.

Should I create the skill entirely within openclaw and only use Claude code for setup issues? If so should I give Openclaw the ability to use Codex? Trying to figure out the optimal workflow.
