Here’s a snapshot of my retirement. I (34f) work for big tech and I essentially realize that I’m just waiting for my number to be called in terms of employment with how volatile the industry is. With that said, I am maxing my 401k, and whenever I have RSUs vest, I sell them right away and put into FXAIX. (That’s why there are 2 brokerages- I kept some from my last vest since the stock was basically on sale)
What else should I be doing? My husband has about $45k in his 401k so this isn’t the entire household picture- but want to ensure I am taking the most advantage while I have a decent paying job. I opened a Roth and IRA to begin the process of a backdoor Roth but am nervous on how to go about it. Any advice would be helpful.
