Why are movie watchers so obsessed with the idea of scenes being improvised

I swear the top fact on every movie's IMDB trivia page is "X scene was actually not in the script; it was improvised by Y actor and Z director liked it so much they kept it in!"

I'm convinced it's because no one cares about the writers but we do care about the actors since we see them at work, and so the idea of the actors doing the writers' job is appealing.

Obviously if you don't wanna know then don't click on this post! I'm an international listener and a relatively new fan of the band (got into them last year) and I'm curious which songs got played. Anyone got the full set-list?

It's my understanding that modern jawed fish evolved from a placoderm ancestor that internalized its armor into becoming a bony skeleton, and that placoderms themsleves are a branch of ostracoderms that evolved jaws.

Is that correct? And if so, is it fair to say that cladistically speaking we are placoderms and ostracoderms?
