I’ve officially launched A-du (www.a-du.homes), a platform that I’ve planning and building for two years! I’ve taken my time to curate a UI/UX that feels familiar, easy, intuitive, and most importantly something that people will love to use.

A-du hosts an ADU rental marketplace (Rent), a marketplace for pre-approved standard ADU plans (Build), and a management portal (Manage)

The platform streamlines the ADU process (in LA County to start): whether you’re considering to build, have already built, or are trying to find an ADU rental, A-du is your one-stop-shop.

A-du Rent uses Stripe for KYC and payments, RentPrep for tenant screening, Anvil for lease generation, and an integrated management portal for a seamless tenant & landlord/homeowner experience.

A-du Build connects homeowners with vendors/architects/designers/engineers whose ADU standard plans have been approved by one of LA county’s building departments, offering visibility and promoting permitting services for those vendors.

There’s also a portal to track the ADU permitting & construction process, a Services marketplace, and a Manager marketplace to connect users with businesses relevant to their needs.

Tenant signups = Free

Uploading approved standard ADU plans = Free

First 100 Rent listings = No landlord fees for life

I’m first launching to Reddit since we Redditors are the most opinionated and thoughtful users. My hope is that you will use the platform and provide any feedback you may have to help me improve the platform before I attempt to scale! Please feel free to reach out directly with any questions or issues you may encounter
