Running into memory issues but realised most of my samples are stereo, is there a way to convert some of my samples into mono within my project?

ive just got a mpc 1000 with jjos2xl, after a great deal of deep diving ive decided to learn jjos3, only issue is i dont see a great deal of tutorials of info on how to use it compared to 2xl, from what ive read id benefit from jjos3 a lot more but is there anyone out there with some decent tutorial style videos on the os? im a first time mpc user.
