Are the r/Eritrea moderator elite a microcosm of Eritrea's political system?
On other HoA subs, the moderator list is ever changing. However, on r/Eritrea, the moderator list remains static, with the most embarrassing stain being that cheeky fucker u/PhnomPencil who is literally a random Asian who made this sub because he was bored a decade and a half ago. This means that suggestions, such as a reading list on the sidebar and banning certain users who may or may not be of a robotic disposition, cannot be implemented by the inactive or unwilling mods. This reflects the environment in Eritrea, where beneficial reforms cannot be employed because of the concentration of power into the hands of a select few, primarily the TT (Tembien Trooper) Isaias Afwerki. In both situations, when will we, as proud Eritreans, say enough is enough?
