If anyone is looking.. I’m sadly saying goodbye to a Stage 3 ‘14 Passat. No longer commuting and a hybrid now makes more sense… the math no longer favours chasing my cooling system issue (thermostat not behaving despite replacement - may have head lift?). It eats me that I haven’t got to the bottom of it all.. I appreciate the help and feedback from this form along the way! I’ll post link to the ad in the comments if anyone is interested.
