As the title says, I’m stuck in a secure boot violation loop (Invalid signature detected)
symptoms:
- violation only occurs when secure boot is switched to enabled, active, and in user mode
- cannot reach windows with secure boot active.
BIOS/Boot setup status:
- boot option #1 is set to windows boot manager
- no “CSM” option in BIOS (BIOS Ver. 317)
- no “other OS” option available
- secure boot key management is only available when I enter setup mode.
methods I’ve already tried:
- Secure boot reset
- Restore factory keys via setup mode
- reset setup mode -> deployed mode
additional info:
- valorant was working fine yesterday (secure boot was on and running
- I noticed problem started / became noticed when I plugged in a new external monitor. might be coincidence.
- valorant released an update on the same day.
any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’ve had this laptop for about four and a half years now.

PCR7 says “binding not possible, BIOS is in UEFI mode, secure boot is off, so windows booted,
