Getting all the endings is pain
First of all. I have played Nier: Automata first, after that I wanted to experience Replicant. I love the game, love the atmosphere, but ...
Playing trough the game so many times is painful. Play the game through once to get A ending. Playing 40% percent of it again with some extra Kainé content for ending B I can get behind. Play the last 40% again for C ending with minimal extra content. I looked it up that you can save before going into the last area. But even that means that you have to replay the same part again. Now that I went for ending E and realized that I have to play a significant part of the beginning of the game AGAIN.... it broke me.
In Automata it felt okay, even interesting to replay some sections. But here it just feels like they just wanted to inflate the playtime. I really liked the game, but this just rubs me the wrong way.
Also, am I the only one who feels they didnt explain project gestalt enough? I feel like I've got more info about it in Automata than in Replicant. I know there are other canon materials, but I just can't wait to watch a video about the lore.
I am considering playing the Drakengard games, but I will need a big break after replaying Replicant against my will over and over.
