Hi all, i’m a noob to all of this if i’m honest so please be kind.

I recently bought a samsung odyssey G8. Absolutely loving it, running it at 3840 x 2160, HDR with 240HZ. However i decided to plug in my other monitor ( free from work ) its max resolution is 1920 x 1080. My dilemma is my samsung can no longer run at its setting as listed above and keeps reverting to 60hz with no hdr… can someone help me out here? Is it because of my work monitor? Is there a middle ground? Should i just disconnect my work monitor and only use my Samsung? Please let me know. Thank you so much
