Hello everyone! I’m 34 years old and was diagnosed with gastroparesis two years ago. I have tried at least a dozen medications trying to ease the symptoms but I’m still vomiting at least half the days of the month and at least 3-4 days a month, it’s over 15-20x per day. The pain in my stomach is unbelievable at times. I met with a surgeon this past week at UAB Hospital (I’m in Alabama) and she gave me the options of Enterra or G-POEM. I’m curious to hear your experience with one or both of the surgeries? The doctor said that I will have to decide what’s best for me so I would love to hear feedback from someone who has been through this process.
