Wondering if anyone has some insight as to what’s going on with my 2024 Cx5. A couple weeks ago, I noticed the A/C was blowing warm/hot air, this was the first time using the A/C since September so this could’ve been an issue for a while. We brought it in to the dealership, they recharged the A/C and added a dye to check for leaks. They couldn’t find a leak, but asked us to come back in a month to check if there is a leak. Immediately after leaving the dealership, there was a strong smell coming from the vents, and some mist/smoke? Assumed this was from everything they did, so we just let it flush out. 2 days later, it still smells strange and I noticed an abnormal sound when the AC is running. It’s almost like a whistling/leaking sound and it stops when the AC is turned off. I’ll attach a video, I’m hoping someone will know what’s happening. I will definitely call the dealership too, the vehicle is still under warranty as we’ve only had it for 2 years. It only has 25000km on it 😩. Also wondering if it’s normal to have multiple issues in a new vehicle? We bought it brand new Feb 2024, we’ve had 3 separate issues now. One with the engine, where it was having rough idling, and would start jolting back and forth. That was fixed, they also found a thermostat issue, which has been fixed. Those issues were in like Oct 2025. Now this issue 7 months later. The car isn’t even paid off but I imagine the car is worth even less now with all these issues?
