Quit a year ago - how to recover from brain fog and slowness?
Hi all,
Since I quit herbs around a year ago, I have noticed great improvements in my anxiety levels, motivation, energy and social skills. This is after being a chronic, nearly daily user for 3 years and an occasional user for about 4 years before that.
However, my brain fog and processing speed only improved slightly in the first few weeks after quitting and I feel like it has not changed since. If I were to quantify it, it feels like I have only recovered 30% of my sharpness and cognitive speed that was lost through herbs. In other words, I am noticeably better than I was when I was a chronic stoner but nowhere near where I was before I started my journey with herbs.
Is there anything you could recommend to help me reduce this constant brain fog and feeling like my thoughts are lagging and struggling to connect? For context, I have autism and ADHD as well.
