What is elapid body language like??

I have a decent amount of experience working with Rattlesnakes, as well as many rear fanged and nonvenomous snake species, but I've never worked with any elapids. Cobras (being able to hood) seem pretty straightforward in terms of communicating when they feel calm vs defensive, but what about things like Coral Snakes, Australian Elapids, and Kraits? I've seen a bunch of videos lately of people handling them, and I've also seen footage of them appearing to strike out of nowhere.
