Games that are NOT adaptations, but are treated like they are in some way?
Inspired by this post: what are games that, while not being actual adaptations of something, are considered the best/closest thing to an actual adaptation?
For example, when Arcane was coming out, people would often ask what game they could play that would feel like Arcane (not League of Legends, Arcane specifically).
The general consensus was that the closest thing ypu could play was the Dishonored series, both in aesthetics, power feel and tone.
