I went to buy groceries to cook I asked her to make mashed potatoes. She took over the vegetables I was looking forward to preparing myself, not a big deal. After convincing herself that I’m complaining she tells me not to touch any of the the food that I bought. Later she comes and pours her plate onto my bowl then threatens to release all of my animals. Not sure what to do I don’t care about the food but my dog is an ESA and as far as my step child im all she knows. I’m not 100% what triggered this but I imaging me asking her to make mashed potatoes and her kind of taking over everything that wasn’t already done. She said she’s going to get a divorce, (she might be serious), and I told her to do what she feels is necessary. I’m a hard working veteran I go to work and school to cover bills she doesn’t work and my step daughters father sends 200$ a week which is nothing to me. Please any advice will help. I have video recordings which capture the sounds everytime someone speaks. I don’t want to get stuck paying alimony when I already take care of everything for someone who doesn’t have ambition or work at all. Hopefully couples therapy or something like that will help but I’m not sure at this point she’s even told me we’re married for benefits not out of being in love, which I am with her. With evidence of her saying that on camera after the marriage am I still legally bound to her? Kind of seems fraudulent. Please please please help
