Otto Noise Barrier Micro Professional Use
I'm looking for people who wear electronic in ear pro for +8 hours at a time.
The use case is actually industrial construction but I'm asking here because sadly, ear pro is a pretty overlooked area of the trades.
I've got three concerns about the Otto Noise barriers and am looking for input
1:There a several less than stellar reviews about the batteries not lasting. Can anyone give input on if this is a common issue or outliers?
2: How well is their directional sound recognition? Im also looking at the Peltor EEP 100, because they are half the price, but the main reason I want electronic is so that I can hear vocal communication with ear pro in.
Has anyone used both the Peltor EEP 100 and the Otto micros, and can say whether they are work double the price?
3: Do they come with a tether of any kind? Or do they really stay in your ear that well? At +$400 I really don't want to risk losing one, as I often for at heights of +80ft
I know there are some threads on these brands from searching but most people are referencing range trips or shooting a match. I'm looking more for feedback on use through a 8-12 hour work day, day after day
