I'm 35 and I've only had a UTI once (approx 3 years ago). During that one, cloudy urine and the urge to urinate were my only symptoms.
Anywho... I had food poisoning 2 days ago and experienced the whole 9 yards. Today, i noticed my urine was cloudy with a sulfur/egg smell and set up a telehealth appointment since i couldn't get in with my pcp nor obgyn. For the first time, i felt dismissed. I told the doctor my symptoms and even told her that the at home test i took came back positive. She told me that my symptoms didn't equate to a UTI since i don't have pain in my lower back and the feeling of not being empty when i urinate. She even told me that a smell is not associated with UTIs! 😑
Looks like I will be scheduling an appointment today. Yay me 🙃
