I've been formulating my own homebrew fish attractant
Step 1) combine fish sauce, anise extract and a ton of peeled chopped garlic cloves. Let sit for a week.
Step 2) crush the garlic and strain the liquid.
Step 3) 1 packet of gelatin with about a half cup of water, boil, then mix other liquid. Refrigerate until solid.
Step 4) in blender blend on high the gelatin mixture, molasses , marshmello fluff, and salt
Step 5) ?????
Step 6) Profish

How do I make fishing friends?
So I'm a 34 year old, recently single full time dad. I say that because the past 10 years I was isolated from family and friends in my relationship.
Since the separation, I've been getting into fishing heavy. I want to get off the bank crazy bad, but I also want to have people to BS with it about.
I would look into a kayak , or boat of my own, but I have nowhere to store it.
It sounds very superficial at first, and maybe it is, but how do I make friends with someone who gets out on the water. I'll provide the gas and beer or whatever, just trying to catch up and rebuild things I left behind a decade ago.

I've wanted a Shimano, and heard the Scorpion is a great choice, the description of the noise has me worried.
